Ashé Holiday Market

The Project Runway star, Korto Momolu, will launch the Community Artists’ Collective’s Annual Ashé Holiday Market with a trunk show.

On Saturday the program kicks off at 12 noon with a blessing of the runway floor, a Liberian ritual dance, followed by the fashion show of Momolu’s fashion-forward designs and accessories.

In addition to Momolu’s creations, local artists Joan Bristow, Elizabeth Montgomery Shelton, Leslie Abrams, Dr. Rhea Lawson and Robbie Lee of Black Heritage Gallery will offer their artistic creations of clothing, jewelry, art and unique crafts for sale.

After the first weekend, the Ashé Holiday Market will be open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 12 noon until 5 p.m. and by appointment through Saturday, December 29th.
