CLAY MUG WORKSHOP
On the first Saturday of the workshop, get your hands dirty, as you discover how to use slabs of clay to build your mug. Practice your basic building and joining skills to add a handle, and experiment with various textures and decorative techniques to enhance the surface of your object.
Return Saturday, February 23, to add color to your mug using underglaze. Mugs will be fired in a kiln and ready for pick up after March 9th.
No experience is necessary. Space is limited, and pre-registration is required. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Fee is $30 for HCCC members and $40 for non-members and includes instructor, materials, and administration fees. Participants may pick up their work at HCCC after March 9, 2019. The class is for adults only (age 18 and over) and requires a minimum of 12 participants to hold.
