Lawndale Family Day in collaboration with Houston Center for Contemporary Craft

Lawndale and Houston Center for Contemporary Craft (HCCC) invite you to a day of free family fun on Saturday, March 7, 2020, including hands-on activities, a food truck, and exhibitions.

We invite you to dive into hands-on activities inspired by the imagery, themes, and media in our winter exhibitions, including Virginia Lee Montgomery’s SKY LOOP and Shawne Major’s Folie à Deux on view from Saturday, January 18 to Sunday, March 29, 2020. Additionally, Lawndale welcomes all to enjoy our galleries open from 11 AM – 5 PM that day.

The fun continues just across the street at HCCC for Craft Community Day, a free spring event featuring local artist guilds and community groups. Visitors of all ages are invited to see craft demonstrations, visit the resident artists’ studios, and view current exhibitions.
