Showcasing two prolific Texas Composers, Peter Lieuwen and Joe LoCascio, Texas New Music Ensemble carries on their tradition of their annual Spring Concert taking place Friday, March 20, 2020 at MATCH (3400 Main Street Houston, TX). On the program includes: Bright River (Peter Lieuwen) for clarinet and piano, Gulf Stream (Peter Lieuwen) for clarinet, violin, cello, and piano, and Rhapsody (Peter Lieuwen) for violin and piano. The second half encompasses the WORLD PREMIERE of the multi-movement piece Widow’s Tale (Joe LoCascio) for string quartet.
