Trinity Jazz Festival 2020

On January 18, 2020 Trinity Church will be hosting the nineteenth annual Trinity Jazz Festival in its historic church at 1015 Holman Street in midtown Houston.  The event is renowned for bringing world-class jazz artists to Houston such as Kirk Whalum, David “Fathead” Newman, Tom Scott, Richie Cole, well known artists with Houston ties such as Jason Moran, Everette Harp, Helen Sung and many more local and national musicians.  This tradition of bringing first-rate talent with ties to the Houston area will continue in 2020 as we welcome jazz vocalist Roseanna Vitro back to town.  The festival will kick off with a Master Class by Roseanna Barr from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.pm.  At 6:00 p.m.a reception featuring a local group of high school all stars will perform.  At 7:00 we will move into the beautiful historic church for a performance by a fresh new group, Bluebonnet Blossoms, featuring Danielle Reich, Raquel Cepeda, Ermelinda Cuellar, and Thomas Helton followed by Roseanna Vitro and her ensemble.
