Midtown Murals

Outdoor public art at its finest.

The Midtown murals offer a glimpse into an eclectic art form that has enchanted us for thousands of years. They surprise and delight us in unexpected locales. From the Mini Murals to “Preservons la Creation,” they are all well worth the journey.

Blue Tile ProjectBlue Tile Logo_ver02: Houston’s mosaic blue tiles (the first street markers for the paved streets of Houston) are a perfect example of some of the hidden gems this city has to offer.

In 2014, self-taught artist and owner of Eyeful Art Murals and Designs, Sebastien “Mr. D” Boileau, gave birth once again to the largest full-scale outdoor murals in the history of Houston.

At over 8,000 sq. ft., the “The Biggest Mural in Houston,” or “Preservons la Creation” serves as an extraordinary backdrop for the Midtown community. This mural is consistently ranked as one the Must Sees in Houston.
