“Breathe,” a social conscious stage-play

Synopsis: A bitter old man who spends his last days out of the public eye, just happens to live in a loft across the street where George Floyd was murdered. Various characters enter his seclusion as he fights to keep the world out of his life and life struggles to get him to come in. (Note: The actual murder will not be reenacted, only referred to in character dialogue.)

Willie Alston will portray the central character, Grandpa Richards as he shares his views on the current worldview and his and your place in this world. Other characters that will be cast is Grandma Fu’que, Nurse Jenitra, Neighborhood security guard, young drug dealer, Skittles, local prostitute, Joe (Caucasian actor).
