Kids 1st Saturday

Every 1st Saturday of the month at The Breakfast Klub is Kids 1st Saturday. This event is FREE for kids and includes a moonwalk, face painter, and arts and crafts. This month, The Breakfast Klub has partnered with Cantu’s Books to host a Book Drive during the Kids 1st Saturday event.

Dieter Cantu, Founder of Cantu’s Books, will be collecting books on-site for incarcerated youth ages 13-17 years old for the Books To Youth Incarcerated Project (BTYIP). The mission of BTYIP is to make a variety of books readily available for the youth housed at various Texas Juvenile Justice Department (TJJD) facilities. The books will be used to improve their literacy and reading skills which will enable them to further their education.
