Black Music Month Legacy Project

The Community Artists’ Collective, the Community Music Center of Houston and the Houston Blues Museum will present the third annual Black Music Month Legacy Project. An opening reception and tribute to W. C. Handy, a composer and musician known as the Father of the Blues, will be held Sunday June 10th. The exhibition features artifacts from the Houston Blues Museum Collection. The Collective is open during the exhibition Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from noon until 5pm and by appointment.
