Celebrating the Creative Journey – Jimmy & ParaChute, by Timothy Eric

Join The Ensemble Theatre as we Celebrate the Creative Journey with the premieres of two one-act plays written by Actor/Director Timothy Eric. There will be a talk-back immediately following the March 19th performance.

Jimmy, a play centered on public school closings, is a picture of some of the circumstances surrounding the state of public education and the rising privatization of schools. Jimmy is directed by actor and playwright Cynthia Garcia and stars Byron Jacquet, Kimberly Hicks, Kurt Bilanoski, and Michelle Harrell.

ParaChute is an immersive theatre experiment where a man, facing the demise of his own planet, leads a daring voyage to a nearby exoplanet!  ParaChute is directed by actor and director Manning Mpinduzi-Mott and stars Timothy Eric, Carmen Williams, and Renae Wilson.  The story of ParaChute is happening right now on Instagram and Twitter #Para_Chute!  We invite you to follow the story and post your comments!

Tickets are $10 at the door (cash only).  You may reserve seats for purchase at the door via RSVP at Eventbrite!

Celebrating the Creative Journey is generously funded in part by the City of Houston through the Houston Arts Alliance.
