CRAFT SOCIAL ON THIRD THURSDAYS: DESIGN CHALLENGE

This month, we’ll explore nontraditional design in art, inspired by the furniture on view in our current exhibition, Annie Evelyn: Multiple Impressions. Grab a friend or two, and test your design skills by working in a team of up to four people to create a small structure using unconventional materials. Learn how to problem-solve weight-baring and structural issues. The design that holds the most weight at the end of the evening will win a prize consisting of four late-night tickets to our upcoming fundraiser, Martini Madness!

Craft Social takes place on the third Thursday evening of each month and is a fun way for adults to explore contemporary craft through other disciplines and media.  These casual, social events emphasize experimentation, curiosity, and innovation. Visitors are encouraged to drop by and participate. All events are free and on a first-come first-served basis. Capacity is limited.
