| When I sit down to play Duke Ellington’s music, one word comes to my mind: elegant. His music reeks of sophistication and grace. It is a joy and privilege to play his incredible compositions.

You will have that rare privilege at Elegant Ellington, BCCM’s cabaret event, May 20th – 22nd, 2017, at the Performance Centre at The Ensemble Theatre. Rob will be joined by Tony Glover, Regina Hearne, Danica Johnston, and Joel Sandel as they bring their vocal talents to this jazzy and soulful trip through Ellington’s musical life.
Elegant Ellington will feature some of the Duke’s most popular and influential works, including “It Don’t Mean A Thing If It Ain’t Got That Swing,” “Satin Doll,” Take the ‘A’ Train.” “Sophisticated Lady,” and “Don’t Get Around Much Anymore.”
Elegant Ellington promises to be a special evening that you will not want to miss. Tickets are $35 per person.
