Family Capoeira Class

Bring your family and enjoy capoeira together! The unique Afro-Brazilian martial art develops discipline, coordination, strength, and rhythm, while the group setting emphasizes social skills, communication and respect for others. Students learn the physical art, as well as how to play music (an essential component) on a variety of instruments used in the roda, or circle, between two players; and to sing and speak in Portuguese. The class is free and open to family of all sizes and skill levels! Instruction is provided by the Brazilian Arts Foundation.
