Lone Star Lyric Summer Festival 2017: White Hot – LSL Summer Cabaret

Please join us for two weekends of comic opera and sizzling cabaret right in the heart of Midtown.

LSL’S Summer Cabaret is the perfect indoor picnic with spicy favorites from the Great American Songbook.

When the thermometer goes way up, come to the cabaret!

This White Hot show includes sizzlers like THE GIRL FROM IMPANEMA, FEVER, UNDER THE BOARDWALK and just the right number of steamy blues like MEMPHIS IN JUNE, THE THINGS WE DID LAST SUMMER by Johnny Mercer, Harold Arlen, Jimmy Van Heusen, Harry Warren, Hoagy Carmichael and more.

LSL converts MATCH’s Black Box 1 into a gorgeous New York nightclub — but the style it evokes is that of the deluxe anything-goes speakeasy.

Backed by LSL’s veteran cabaret trio with Alan Simmons on bass, Carol Daubert on drums and led by the outstanding jazz pianist, Paul English so grab a drink and sing along to this sophisticated cocktail concert with no dress code.

Standby
Standby tickets are sold/issued when a performance is sold out, but you still want to try your chances at the door.

A standby ticket does not guarantee that you will be admitted into the theater or that your entire party will be admitted.
Standby tickets are admitted on a first purchased, first served basis.
Standby tickets do not guarantee that we will be able to sit your entire party together.
If you purchase a standby ticket, you must be present in the lobby 5 minutes before the scheduled start time of your performance.
If you are not admitted into the theatre, we will exchange your tickets for another performance or issue the purchaser a refund.
