SAMSKRITI – Society for Indian Performing Arts presents Mad and Divine: The Voice of Two Mystics by Rama Vaidyanathan Sunday, July 9 at MATCH Houston.
MAD and DIVINE is the voice of two mystic poets. Janabai from Maharashtra from the 13th Century and Lalded from Kashmir from the 14th Century.
Both defied social norms to fearlessly express their love for the divine. Janabai chose the path of devotion while Lalded chose the path of tantra.
Both were very different but there is no denying that they both were mad and divine!
Ticket Information
VIP – $50 – open seating on row A to D
Regular – $25 – open seating on row E to N
This performance is suitable for ages 5 and up.
