Mozart’s Clarinet Quintet: A Match Made in Music
La Speranza and Houston Early Music Festival present a program of chamber music by Haydn and Mozart, including the beloved Clarinet Quintet.
Houston’s newest period instrument ensemble introduces a new genre to the Houston Early Music Festival: chamber music from the Classical era.

And what better way to celebrate the day of love than with Mozart’s Clarinet Quintet and the basset clarinet d’amore!
Historical clarinet virtuoso and builder Thomas Carroll joins La Speranza on his model of the instrument for which the quintet was intended.
